The South Kingstown girls’ soccer team rebounded from their only loss of the season with a victory over Scituate in a Division 1 crossover game.
The Rebels were led by Chelsea Gates and Adrienne Bender who had two goals each.
Nikki Gorman and the Rebels’ defense came up big with another shut out. Co-Captain Bryce McGillivray and the rest of the defense was a big reason for the shut out.
“We knew we had to step up after the loss to La Salle and our left back, Sara Rosa, but we managed to adjust and still play solid,” said McGillivary
The Rebels next test will come when the play Portsmouth High school on October 5 at Curtis Corner Middle School.
