Rebels Fall to Central Falls

The South Kingstown Rebels soccer team played well on Tuesday but failed come up with the win, losing 1-0 to Central Falls.

“You can’t win any game scoring zero goals,” said Senior Captain Taylor Readyhough of the loss.

“We let up one goal, but we can’t expect our defense to pitch a shutout every game.”

Central Fall’s Sebastian Godoy scored with two minutes left in the first half to put the Warriors ahead.

 The Rebels were unable to find the back of the net and the game ended with the Warriors on top 1-0.

 

Goalie Tom Higgins, who had 6 saves in the contest, stated, “We played well, we just couldn’t score.”
